Working on editing a quick sports porttrait portfolio for next week. These will be cut out and used to move images around to see what sequence work best. Looks pretty cool as is though. Might have to frame a few of these up.
After a 2 hour commute to DC to Shoot on set for RLTV show on Medicare, I’ve been presented with the challenge of shooting proper portraits (read headshots) of Deborah Norville (Inside Edition, CBS Evening News etc…) without lights… well, my own lights anyway. Luckily our main objective for the day was shooting on the RLTV set and there are hot lights and Kinos-a-plenty!
Here’s a good argument for storing your photos, work or family vacay, on a local redundant (backed-up) hardrive and not on some who-knows-where-server-farm i.e. Flickr, Picassa etc… At the very least back up… and not on your laptop. This article highlights a rare example of digital disaster but one that is always a possibility.
I usually try to rein in my nostalgic leanings but the photographs taken of darkrooms in this video are hard to resist. Tell me the long haired bloke doesn’t remind you of hippy Neal from the British sit-com The Young Ones.
